Founders Story

Food has always played a big part in Gloria's life. She grew up in an Italian-Canadian household. Her mother was a brilliant cook, it is no wonder she followed in her footsteps and became a foodie herself
Making delicious food for family and friends became a lifelong passion for her, starting with collecting recipes from the newspaper when she was 12 years old, working her way up to deboning quail. She has been passionate about food her whole life.

Food Is Medicine

With a history of Type 2 diabetes, Gloria has been struggling with her weight since she was 12 years old. For over 40 years, she tried all kinds of fad diets, only to be met with frustration.

Finally, in 2016, she discovered the ketogenic diet, where she was able to eat all her favorite foods and still lose weight simply by cutting out all the processed foods and refined sugar.

Once she noticed a significant improvement in her health, she introduced her parents to keto. Soon after her dad began his keto journey, His blood sugar levels normalized and he no longer needed his medication for Type 2 Diabetes.

Seeing the impact keto had on her and her family, it was clear to Gloria that she had to share this with everyone out there who is in a position where she once was. And so Ketolibriyium was born.
