How Do They Work?

How many meals do you get?

There are a variety of different meal packages all with a different number of meals and items. You can view the packages here

What is the difference between pre-set and customizable meal packages?

Both kinds of meal packages are designed to help you achieve / maintain ketosis. Preset meal packages all the meals are chosen by our team and provided to you.  Each meal is chosen specifically so that each day provides you with the appropriate keto macros (high-fat, low-carb, moderate protein). They are great for someone just starting on keto! Our customizable meal packages are for those who are familiar with our meals and would like to choose all their own options.

Who are these meals designed for?

Our keto meal packages are designed for the average person looking to switch to or continue eating a healthy low-carb or keto diet.

How do I know if the meals I choose will keep me in ketosis?

Lucky for you, all of our meals are 100% keto friendly and will help you maintain or achieve ketosis, so there is no wrong way to build your meal package. As long as you're choosing our options and sticking to eating what you selected, you'll be well on your way!

I subscribed to a customizable meal package, am I stuck with the same meals now?

No! We are happy to offer a variety of meals that you can change right from your customer account every week! Additionally we our menu rotates almost every week so there are always fresh options to choose from. To learn more about how to manage your subscription click here.

Can I change meal packages?

Yes! Whether you are subscribed to a customizable or preset meal package, you can change meal packages any time. You can do so from your customer account or by reaching out to customer service.

Making the Meal Packages Your Own

These meals provide too much food for me. Do I have to eat all of it?

No. Our meals are simply designed to provide enough food for most people. If you find you’re not hungry enough to finish all the food, we advise listening to your body and not forcing it, especially if you’re trying to lose weight. You can freeze, share or save the leftovers for later!

I’m still hungry after eating some meals. What should I do?

Feel free to add more of any truly low-carb, high-fat food. The easiest way is to just add more fat to your meal, like butter, olive oil or mayonnaise to fill you up. You can also purchase more of our fat-bombs or baked-goods to eat with meals to increase satiety.

What if I’m hungry between meals? Can I snack?

People usually stay satisfied on a low-carb, high-fat diet, vastly decreasing the need for snacking. If you do find yourself hungry, we recommend eating foods with a higher healthy fat content. Fat bombs, nuts and seeds are all great options. Check out some great snack options here

Can I eat keto desserts with my meal plans?

We recommend avoiding keto-friendly desserts when starting on a keto diet to help curb sugar cravings and break the habit of eating sweets - but we understand everyone is different. You can add desserts into your cart separately if you want to incorporate them into your diet.

About The Food 

What nutrition information is provided?

All of our online product descriptions include the macronutrient breakdown along with a detailed ingredients list. When your food arrives, the macronutrients are printed on the label for ease of tracking. You will also receive a breakdown of total macros for each day as well as a weekly meal overview for your fridge with pre-set meal packages.

How much preparation is required?

Almost none! Remove any dips or fresh vegetables, and simply heat your meal either in the microwave or transfer to oven-proof or stove top cooking pans and reheat to reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Plate your meal and enjoy!

What if I am allergic to something or don't like an ingredient in the meals?

Check the icons on our product descriptions online to make sure that our meals are free of allergens that affect you. We currently carry a limited selection of nut-free, egg-free and dairy-free options. If a meal package has an ingredient you cannot eat you can put in a request with your order and we will do our best to accommodate!

How do I reheat my food?

All meals can be reheated either in the microwave or the oven/toaster oven. To reheat in microwave, remove plastic cover & any sauce containers, and microwave for 2 – 4 minutes. For the oven, preheat oven to 375° F, transfer food to oven proof container, and heat for 10 – 15 minutes. We recommend reheating to an internal temperature of 165° F. Exact heating time will vary on personal preference and appliance.  

Do I have to freeze my meals?

As all our food is made fresh with zero preservatives, some meals will require freezing based on the Best Before date.  Always review the Best Before dates when you receive your food.

Are your containers heat proof?

Our containers are microwave save but are not safe to put in the oven. You will have to use a different oven-friendly container of your own if heating in the oven. Always remove sauces before heating.
